Colloquiums

The AIIS Colloquium Series brings Indigenous scholars, artists, community leaders, and practitioners to campus to share their research, creative work, and perspectives. AIIS Elder-in-Residence Program

The Elder-in-Residence Program welcomes respected Tribal Elders to campus to share their knowledge, experiences, and cultural teachings with students, faculty, and the wider university community. Through classroom visits, public presentations, and informal conversations, Elders help enrich learning and strengthen relationships between the university and Tribal Nations.

Annual Evening of Storytelling

For more than two decades, the Annual Evening of Storytelling has celebrated the rich storytelling traditions of Indigenous communities. This beloved annual event features accomplished storytellers who share traditional and contemporary stories that inspire, educate, and entertain audiences of all ages.
